Dr. Oesterling joined the Animal Care Center of Shorewood family in 2020. Originally from Michigan, she earned her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, where she played water polo for four years and remains a Spartan at heart. Dr. Oesterling graduated from the University of Illinois Center of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and moved to the Chicago area to start her veterinary career. Dr. Oesterling has a special interst in surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology and urology. Since graduating, she has pursued continued education in cardiology, neurology and dermantology. Dr. Oesterling believes that she has the best job in the world, and thinks that the human-animal bond is truly remarkable!

In her free time, Dr. Oesterling enjoys swimming, weight lifting, traveling, being creative and spending time with her two French Bulldogs.
